A backlit fern frond - a fan-shaped nest frond on a very substantial staghorn fern in the Begonia House in the Lady Norwood rose garden. (Yes, begonias are on display - along with so much more.)
The bright light from behind it shines through the frond, highlights the wonderful pattern of netted veins, and makes the green glow.
So refreshing on these winter days.
